Because commercial acting and auditioning require specific skills that differ from other forms of acting, experienced castings directors, Fay Shumsey and Stephanie Dalle Molle, hope to guide actors through an interactive four-week program where they will explore what works and what doesn’t in commercials, and instill participants with the skills and knowledge necessary for success.

Week # 1

Non-Scripted Audition techniques

    Non-Verbal Auditions

    Improv only Auditions

Week # 2

Solo auditions

Participants will perform two solo commercial spots on camera

Week # 3

Interactive auditions

Participants will perform two interactive commercial spots on camera

Week # 4 

Lecture/Q & A with agent

Signing with an agent

Trends in the commercial industry

Understanding the casting process

Importance of improv in commercial auditions

Participants will perform one solo and one interactive spot for the agent

Upon completion of course, each participant will receive a personalized DVD of their auditions, uncut with casting director’s adjustments and critiques.

Program Sessions will be held on Monday evenings from 7-9pm.
